Hey, I just picked up the new Steve Vai DVD, live at The Astoria. What a treat!! Steve's at his best. The tunes are great, as well as the supporting musicians. I haven't been this inspired by viewing a concert in ages. Tony MacAlpine is also on guitar and keyboards, as well as Dave Weiner on another guitar. Billy Sheehan in on bass and Virgil Donati is on drums.

This is a MONSTER band and great concert! I highly recommend this to anyone out there who can get your hands on one. Even if you don't happen to like Steve's style, this is really a treat to watch and listen to.
