Jeff Beck has a tone and a style that can't be duplicated. That's the stuff that great guitarists are made of.

Beck is still my god. His tone and playing threwout the 70s and 80s was awesome. His albums of the 90s where weak but he is still awesome live!

In the sixties, it was probably Hendrix first with Beck a close second. After that, it would be Clapton and Page and so on done the line... I dunno about after the sixties
though.

People forget Harrison was a greaat player in the 60s not the 70s but in the 60s he played great stuff
