Josh Homme is one of the most underated guitarist out there today. It started with kyuss, then the dessert sessions, his extent with the screaming trees, and now he is finally getting some recognition with queens of the stoneage.

I totally did Josh Homme. I'm not as impressed with the QOTSA stuff but Kyuss is amazing. I love his tone. Uses an Ampeg SVT with an old Ovation electric. Totally unique!

I couldn't agree more... Homme is a total genius... Live, especially... On songs like "You Can't Quit Me, Baby," and "Better Living Through Chemistry," he soars... Incredible...

Josh Homme does have great tone...have you guys ever checked out Matt Pike? He was in Sleep and is now in High On Fire. He usually plays with 3-Green full stacks and a Laney full stack and just creates the biggest wall of sound I've ever heard. The quitessential stoner metal guitarist in my opinion.
