...Oh...my...god...talk about tight!! This band is unbelieveable. Neil Peart is an absolute monster, and Alex Lifeson was tearing it up like I've never heard him play on the albums. Even Geddy Lee had some nasty solos in songs like YYZ, while his voice is the same as ever. The concert had everything: impeccable musicianship, a terrific setlist, cheesy pyrotechnics, a 360 degree rotating drumset so Neil Peart could switch drums in the middle of solos, and best of all Geddy's amps were actually washing machines (!) and at the end they took out the concert t shirts that were spinning around in there and threw them into the crowd. This was my first Rush concert, and I had a great time. Almost 30 years and still not showing any signs of their age. If anything they're getting better. They are definitely a live band, catch them in your town if you can!
