I totally agree. A beautiful and breathtaking record, IMO. The textures are unreal, and I love the way it flows. I love it from start to finish, but would cite "Subterranean Homesick Alien", "Lucky", and "The Tourist" as favorites. The trem / wah sounds on "Lucky" are like a throbbing headache. I once read that record described as the "Abbey Road for the 90's". An incredibly bold statement! But I've racked my brain and I can't come up with anything else within the last ten years that would approach that pinnacle. I don't think this is what that writer meant, but I can definitely hear some Beatles and even Cheap Trick and Doors influences (One very pointed "Revolver" era nod). But it never comes off as derivative. I'd have to say though, that a choice between "OK" and "The Bends" would be a matter of mood. I also have "Pablo Honey" and "Kid A". Today I picked up "Amnesiac", but haven't heard it yet. I'm with you. I love "OK Computer".

Android on OK computer is just awesome. The album is pink floyd meets the beatles meets rage against the machine.....in the top 10 of the 90s

Definitely one of my all-time favourites! "Paranoid Android" is simply breath-taking. The "rain down" section always gets to me.

This got to be the best record of the 90's. A real trip, a soundscape. My favourite track is NO SURPRISES, it's so sad, it makes me want to cry and smile at the same time...

Karma Police is one of the greatest songs. Radiohead is just one of the better bands to come along in a while.

Howdy!

Corleone, regarding the "wah/trem" sounds you mentioned on "Lucky," you're a little misguided... That's actually Ed O'Brien wildy rocking a volume pedal before a Lovetone Meatball... I had had that idea for quite a bit... Pairing a volume pedal and an envelope filter just screams kooky... Almost as much as a whammy pedal before a ring modulator... And yeah, the album is great... I just put it on my iPod this morning!
