Its not a wailing guitar album, and Clapton and Santana and Roy Buchanan and others are a bigger influence on me for guitar, but this album was so cool, so trippy imaginative, with killer cuts that arent 1-4-5 blues rehash. Great singing and songwriting here, check out Plastic Fantastic Lover and that great acoustic guitar rhythm- simple and effective and rocking.
