The second line has some "Implied Chords". These are Chords that are implied with just the 3rds. and 7ths. Makes for easily grabbed "Chords". Also, they allow more sonic space for other instruments.

I wrote the same Implied Chords, with an E string Root, and then with an A String Root.

The fourth line has some rhythmic action. You play the Roots, and then the Guide Tones. This gives a sense of motion.

In the fifth line, there are Chromatic Notes approaching the Roots.

Line six shows how to add Extensions, to imply even larger Chord Structures. These work really well, for Chord-Melody playing.

Line seven has the Harmonized Chord Scale for the Key of C.

The last section has the "A String Root" Chords' 5ths. in place of their Roots. This helps with creating better Bass Lines.

There's a LOT more to this stuff. But, this should help anyone get started with sounding "Jazzy".

Hope someone gets something out of this.

Once again, the chord names/text always fail to line up with the Tab, whenever I copy and paste these things!

But, the chords are in the right order. If you want it to line yp, you can put this into a Wordpad Document, and use the space bar to get it all re-aligned.

I think I'm going to try the TUXGUITAR program, just to see if it works better for this.
