Hello

Has any looked at these instructional vidoes and got something practical and useful from them ?

Emily Remeler Swing Guitar
Duke Rollibard
Jimmy Bruno
J Geils
Ronnie Earl
Brian Setzer

Are there any other instructional vidoes that you have had experience with that are worth the money and time ?

Regards

Paul B

I do have a few videos that I like. There are two that I have from Don Mock that are excellent. One deals with Jazz rhythm and the other with lead playing. Don is really good at explaining how to apply the ideas to any type of music you play.

Another video that is very good is Robben Ford's Back to the Blues (or The blues and Beyond, I forget the title. It has "Revelation" and "Ain't got nothing but the blues" on it.

Others I have that I could tell you about are:
Steve Morse - Power lines
Warren Haynes - Acoustic and Electric
Jorma - Acoustic
Larry Carlton Sessions?
Brent Mason (country and swing guitar)
Arlen Roth - 150 hot licks
Albert Lee - highlights

There are some others I can't remember at the moment.

I've been thinking about checking out the Duke Rollibard one as well as the Brian Setzer one.

I own them all, except the Ronnie Earl...

They're all excellent. If you're learning jazz, the Emily Remler and Jimmy Bruno are great!
