I know there is Open D tuning(DADF#AD), Open E tuning(EBEG#BE), Open G tuning(DGDGBD), Open A tuning(EAEAC#E), and Open C tuning(CGCGCE).What about Open B or Open F tunings.Do those exist?

Why not try some other interesting tunings (not for slide but cool tunings nonetheless) like DADGAD and CACGCE too? Hint: Kashmir and Bron-Yr-Aur

I don't use open tunings for slide that much.Just for playing regularly.I think my strngs are more than capable of handling it.I use GHS Zakk Wylde strings(11-70).I think I will try DADGAD(why not call it Black Mountain tuning?)and CACGCE(wherever this came from. But I still wanna know Open B and F tuning!

Can your neck handle it?? You might want to switch to .009's for an open F tuning (or use .010's and use an open E with a capo on fret 1). I know; blasphemy. I use .011's too, and I love the tone and the stability they give to bends. I've never heard of an open B tuning, but then again; you can always use an open A with a capo on fret 2.

Hey; ever try partial capos? Here are two good uses:
1, tune your whole guitar down one step, then capo the 2nd fret on all the strings except the 6th. Drop D, but you don't have to play the notes on the 6th string any differently than standard tuning.
2, cut the rubber on a capo so that it only touches three of the strings; then you can do an instant open A chord and play 1 or 2-string riffs over that.

CACGCE = 'Bron-Yr-Aur' Led Zeppelin Physical Graffiti Disk 2
