Hey all,
I am interested in a VooDoo Strat. The sweet, sweet, sweet, Jimni Hendrix model that came in 3 differenrt setups. One: the cheap one Two: the nice one with the reversed neck, pups and tremelo. Then last but not least the signatrure strat that had a roundee body with a reversed neck, pups and tremelo for that all left handed string path for right handed player. No It really does look cool and sound even better. Anyone have one that they would want to trade for a 1970 LP Goldtop that has been being used and played to hell and back. Anyone interested in trading?? I forgot to add that my LP has been played and broken in over the years and has it's own quality,. I have played it over 25 years and it looks like it has been beaten over the years. I also have a great tremelo pedal with dual speeds etc. and it is very cool . They Blue Book at$2550 and it has a NEW hard shell case~!!!!!!!!!!!Which will come with the guitar. Photos on request. Would also consider the right Fender amp, like maybe a Bassman Reissue or something along thoselines. |

Hey Knuckle, I don't want to trade mine, but I will tell you that it is a well-made, fine-playing Strat with a BEAUTIFULLY shaped neck. The bummer? The stock pickups are VERY weak and uninspiring. I don't care if that old woman did wind them special, they SUCK. That said though, I'm glad I own it.

Yeah NUKLHED, i think the reverse neck/pup combination is a winning deal. These gtrs are hard (and expensive) to come by. That extra low string growl with the longer 6th string is wicked. The reverse pup combo is crucial to THAT tone also. Hendrix only used 8s, i believe, but what a sound! Good luck w/your search.
