I recently bought a very cool looking guitar called Zenta in great condition. It is apparently made in Japan. Does anybody know anything about Zenta guitars? Are they rare / crap etc. Should I sell it or burn it?
I´ve been searching the internet with no luck.

you crazy kids & your internet! here is what i
found in one of my books(remember those?):
entry level solid-body & semi-hollow body guitars that featured both original designs &
designs based on classic american favorites.
originally produced in japan in the late 60's to
the late 70's.then moved to korea.
so,it probably isn't worth much.but,you said it
looks cool.thats a big plus.does it play well?
does it sound good?if you dig it,keep it.you can
upgrade any hardware that is questionable.in the
end,it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks,if
you like it-keep it.

Thanks. I remember books. In fact I'm a librarian, but there were no book-references in my library...
It plays ok, but the pick-ups are a bit worn. If the Zenta isn't worth much, I think I'll modify it a bit.

I've no idea what my Zenta model is called, but it looks a bit like a telecaster. I play it through a Solec Phase Shifter, Tube Screamer and my old Rockwood amp. Great with the effects, but a bit thin with a clean sound.
