I saw the other post and wanted to add on. I bought a 57 Bill Nash strat last summer and it is by far, the best electric guitar I have ever played. This guy out does Fender in every possible respect and a much more affordable price (compared to their relics....which as I said, do not play or even look anywhere near as good as Bill's in my opinion). My version is a one piece ash body...YES ONE PIECE. It's extremely light and resonates like no other electric I've ever played. This guitar sings!!! Anyway, if he could make them faster, he'd put Fender out of business in my opinion. This is what a strat ought to be!!!
He makes them in all the classic Fender colors. They are only available from his dealers, but if you talk to a responsive dealer, you can ask then to give you the type of neck, color, level of relic, etc that you want. They are about $1700. WELL worth it, the best money you'll spend.
