I had a DC135T built in 1996. I had the rounded sides, coil split, phase and cherry burst. I have loved the guitar and it's been my main axe since I got it. Very versatile. I get great, complex strat tones from the neck p/u with more output and deep, rich sounds from the bridge. I really don't use the mid p/u by itself, but I do mix it in. I love the neck/bridge combo or all three with the phase in.

Top quality workmanship for a fraction of the cost of any of the custom builders. I didn't buy it for appreciation reasons, hell, Carvins don't do that. I bought it to hang on to and I'm sure, that's what I'll do.

Carvin DOES rock! You're right on the cheap prices compared with others. Gibsons are too expensive and I hate PRS guitars. I have a TL60 and it's SO AWESOME! Rock on Carvin!

Enjoy playing music
